Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Sunday: Johannesburg

Arrival at OR Tambo International Airport. Meet your representative and transfer to your hotel (unescorted, driver only). The remainder of the day is at leisure. At 19:00, join the welcome briefing at the hotel to meet your fellow travelers.

Day 2 – Monday: Johannesburg → Mpumalanga

Drive to Mpumalanga, descending into the subtropical Lowveld. Explore the Panorama Route, visiting Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondavels, God’s Window, and Bourke’s Luck Potholes.

Day 3 – Tuesday: Mpumalanga

Optional Kruger National Park open-vehicle safari (own account). Observe wildlife and enjoy the park’s flora and birdlife. Afternoon at leisure.

Visit Ngwenya Glass and Swazi Candles Centre, then continue into KwaZulu-Natal, arriving at your hotel late afternoon.

Drive through the Transkei region, passing Nelson Mandela’s birthplace. Arrive late afternoon at your lodge on the Eastern Cape Coast.
